Succession planning is vitally important to the survival of a family business beyond the retirement or lifetime of the current owner(s). It requires sensitivity to relationships among family members, a realistic assessment of the capabilities of potential owners and managers and careful attention to applicable business law rules and tax laws. This teleconference will focus on the following:
